Sat May 17 – Mon May 19

The 11th Annual Port Dalhousie 3×3 Salmon Classic  presented by Fish Hawk Eletronics will take place May 17, 2025 – May 19, 2025

Same format as years past. $50 per boat, this covers everyone on the boat during the event.

For those that are new to our club or tournaments, or anyone interested in joining, the 3×3 offers an amazing opportunity to experience tournament fishing. Running over the May long weekend, the 3×3 provides a tournament that is fun for anglers of all experiences. The tournament spans 3 days and the goal is to weigh in your 3 biggest fish over those 3 days – hence the name 3×3. The little twist to keep things interesting is there are no upgrades to your entered fish, and fish must be entered the same day you catch them.

With only a $50 entry fee and fishing on your own schedule between Saturday and Monday at 3 pm, this event is perfect for those looking to dip their toes into the tournament scene or for experienced tournament anglers looking for a bit more of a relaxed format. For those serious anglers out there looking for the big prize, you can see the details below about entering the optional side pot that offers an opportunity for more competition! We look forward to seeing new and old faces in one of our favourite weekends of the year!

Registration deadline is Thursday May 15th, 2025 at 5pm. You may register online,  at Peters Tackle or Grimsby Tackle

For those who wish to optionally compete for a bigger prize pot, Justin Borowetz will be running a $300 per boat side challenge, which will pay out : 1st 50 % / 2nd 30% / 3rd 20% if there are at least 10 boats committed. Contact him to confirm if you want in @ Justin_borowetz777@hotmail.com

Guaranteed $1500 for 1st place.

All teams entered will get one ballot in the draw to win a Fish Hawk Lithium Pro System!

Biggest Salmon each day will win a $100 valued prize package.

Biggest Salmon overall will win a Scotty 1116 Electric Downrigger

You may enter the same fish in the Spring Salmon Derby & any other events as long as all rules are followed for both events.

Fish may only be weighed in at the SCGFA launch ramp in Port Dalhousie.

Prizes 1st $1500, 2nd $700, 3rd $500 cash, 4th $200 prize pkg and 5th $100 prize pkg
